Food States of Mexico: celebrating gastronomic diversity
Is there such a thing as Mexican cuisine or does each of the country's regions have its own distinct cuisine? And what's your favourite Mexican regional dish? We discussed these questions and more with some of the top chefs, restaurateurs and food media from Mexico at our #50BestTalks event in Mexico City in March 2015.
The event was held at Elena Reygadas' Rosetta restaurant (No. 33 on the list) and the panel included several of Latin America's 50 Best chefs: Mikel Alonso (Biko, No. 8), Jorge Vallejo (Quintonil, No. 10), Guillermo González Beristain (Pangea, No. 19), Benito Molina (Manzanilla, No.25) and Pablo Salas (Amaranta, No. 41).
